Newegg Accepts Bitcoin

Newegg, one of the largest online electronics retailers, began accepting Bitcoin through a partnership with BitPay. Because so much early mining hardware — GPUs, ASICs, and PSUs — was bought on Newegg, the move let miners spend the coins they earned right back into their rigs, making it one of the most fitting merchant integrations of the era.
