Following a June 2011 breach that briefly crashed Bitcoin's price to one cent on Mt. Gox, CEO Mark Karpeles announced and executed a transfer of 424,242.424242 BTC to demonstrate the exchange still held its reserves. The movement was recorded in block 132,749 — one of the largest single on-chain transfers of the era.
